Using the traditional technique of beadwork & the form of a burden strap (used to carry large burdens or weight), I created a strap incorporating a Microarray Analysis test for Multiple Myeloma. These tests detect the presence & stage of a disease; for the series of belts this is part of, I choose diseases and illnesses that affect Native populations at a disproportionate rate.
